Coronavirus latest: No new confirmed cases in Dacorum

There have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, there is still a total of 361 confirmed cases in the borough, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been two new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 2,905 confirmed cases.

But the true number of cases is thought to be far higher with many people not being tested.

There have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust in the past 24 hours, the latest official figures show.

NHS England figures show 351 people had died in hospital at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust as of 5pm on Wednesday, June 3, - the same number as Tuesday.

Of 23 trusts within the region, the West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust, which manages Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital, has the highest death toll.

There have been 10 coronavirus deaths at the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, eight at the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, and 159 at East and North Hertfordshire Trust.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 281,661 (includes tests carried out by commercial partners which are not included in the country totals).

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 39,904 rising by 176 - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday and 5pm on Wednesday.

Last week's figure were unusually low due to the Bank Holiday.
