There have been four new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum over the weekend, the total for the borough is 518, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 18 new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 4,241 cases in the county.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.

NHS England figures show 369 people have died in hospital (deaths of people who have had a positive test result) at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Of 23 trusts within the region, West Hertfordshire Hospitals trust, which manages hospitals in Hemel Hempstead, Watford and St Albans, has the highest death toll.

There have been 299,426 lab-confirmed cases in the UK.

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 45,752, (deaths of people who have had a positive test result) - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
