Another day with no new coronavirus cases for Dacorum

There have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, the total for the borough is still 377, according to the latest figures from Public Health England published today just after 5pm.

There have been just two new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 2,995 cases in the county.

But the true number of cases is thought to be far higher with many people not being tested.

There have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust.

NHS England figures show 361 people had died in hospital at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust as of 5pm on Wednesday, June 24 in figures released today (June 25).

Of 23 trusts within the region, the West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust, which manages Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital, has the highest death toll.

Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases now stands at 307,980 (includes tests carried out by commercial partners which are not included in the country totals).

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 43,230 rising by 149 (Deaths of people who have had a positive test result) - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday June 23 and 5pm on Wednesday June 24.
