A driver was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision involving a Ford Transit van and a car transporter, near Kings Langley this morning (March 2).

Police were called at around 6am today to a report a two-vehicle road traffic collision blocking the A41 northbound near Kings Langley.

A Ford Transit van and a car transporter were involved.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "The driver of the Transit van was taken to hospital by ambulance to be assessed for a wrist and chest injury. The injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

"Road closures were put in place while the incident was dealt with and the vehicles recovered. Closures were lifted by 9.30am."
