Detectives investigating an incident in Hemel Hempstead are appealing for witnesses and information.

It was reported that shortly before 2.30pm on Sunday, March 28, two men were involved in a verbal altercation in Redwood Drive.

One of the men was on an electric scooter, and the other was driving a green Audi. It was alleged that they were then involved in a collision.

The Audi left the scene in the direction of the A414, St Albans Road.

No one sustained serious injuries. It is believed that both involved parties are known to each other.

Detective Constable James MacPherson, who is investigating, said: “This incident happened in a residential street in broad daylight, and I believe several people may have witnessed the collision itself, or the events leading up to it.

“If you have any information, and have not yet spoken to police, please get in contact as soon as possible.

"Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to helping us progress the investigation.”

A 28-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested on suspicion of ABH. He has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
