Coronavirus latest: here's how many new cases were recorded in Dacorum in the last 24 hours

Dacorum has recorded 12 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours of data released this afternoon (March 9).
The total for the borough is now 8,263, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

Hide AdThe incidence rate over the last 7 days has decreased from 74.3 per 100,000 population to 67.2 per 100,000 (the period represented is the 7 days ending March 4).
On March 2, the incidence rate was 76.9 per 100,000 population (the 7 days ending February 25).
There have been 72 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 74,762.

Hide AdAccording to Public Health England there were 79 confirmed COVID-19 patients in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust - which manages hospitals in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans - on Tuesday, March 2, and 11 were on mechanical ventilation beds.
There have been no new Covid-related deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 317, there have been three new deaths recorded in Hertfordshire, the total is 2,434 - according to Public Health England (deaths within 28 days of positive test).
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 5,766 and now stands at 4,228,998. The number of deaths has risen by 231 to 124,797.
The estimated R number is 0.7 to 0.9, with a daily infection growth rate range of -5% to -3% as of March 5.

Hide AdAs of March 8, in the UK, 22,592,528 people had received the first dose of the vaccination for COVID-19, and 1,181,431 had received their second dose.
The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Sunday, March 7, and 5pm on Monday, March 8.
