Tinies Daycare has now re-opened in The Marlowes, offering parents the chance to shop or visit the gym while the children are entertained in a safe environment.

After the lifting of restrictions in June, retail has steadily reopened at the Hemel Hempstead shopping centre with 95 per cent of all retail now open, including new outlets Cake Box and Kings Barbers which both opened in July.

Tinies Daycare is currently offering shoppers 1.5 hours of free childcare with any spend over £1 at the centre for children between two and 10.

Gym members are also able to take advantage of the Tinies facility, receiving free childcare whilst they work out.

To ensure the safety of those visiting, Tinies will be operating two fixed sessions:

- Monday to Saturday 9.30am till 11.00am and 11.30am till 1pm.

- Sunday 11.30am till 1pm and 1.30pm till 3pm.

Children can arrive anytime within the session but must pick up promptly at the end to allow for cleaning.

All children must be registered with Tinies Crèche. This will not be available on sign in and must be completed online.

Humphrey Mwanza, The Marlowes General Manager, said: “It’s great to see all our customers and retailers back and for our centre to have that familiar buzz again.

“Following the ease of lockdown, we were able to start re-opening in a safe and controlled manner.

"A number of measures were implemented, to follow strict adherence to government guidelines and ensure the health and wellbeing of our shoppers.

“Our customers have been really understanding and helped us maintain everyone’s safety by abiding to the rules, and we look forward to moving forward in a new normal way offering great retail and leisure outlets in Hemel Hempstead.”
