Four McDonald's drive-thrus will re-open in Hemel Hempstead between June 2 and June 4.

Following a successful pilot McDonald's confirmed today (Wednesday) that all drive thrus are to re-open by June 4, which means the McDonald's drive-thrus in Hemel Hempstead - Jarman Fields Leisure Centre, Apsley, Maylands Avenue and Bourne End - will re-open next week.

They will also be adding 75 restaurants to McDelivery via either Uber Eats or Just Eat

There will be a limited menu - no breakfast, wraps or shakes - over reduced hours - 11am till 10pm.

In a statement posted on the restaurant's Twitter page, it said: "In order to allow for social distancing, we will have fewer employees in our kitchens and service areas.

"We continue to ask that you limit your spend to £25 and use contactless payment methods wherever possible.

"Our teams are adjusting to new safety and hygiene procedures, which will help them to work safely and social distance, we appreciate your continued patience."

McDonald's will confirm the locations of the re-opening restaurants on its website and social media channels each morning from June 2.
