Christmas will certainly look a little different this year but The Marlowes will still celebrate the festive season by bringing some Marlowes magic to Hemel Hempstead.

The centre is opening from 8am till 7pm in the lead up to Christmas to help people shop local and safely, avoiding the crowds.

To keep festivities jingling all the way, The Marlowes have partnered with Heart FM’s Angels to make some lucky shoppers’ wishes come true.

The Christmas Wish Cam will be in The Marlowes on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, encouraging shoppers to share what they are wishing for during this magical season in the hopes of winning their dream Christmas.

For those who are unable to visit the shopping centre in-person, The Marlowes will also be offering the opportunity to make wishes online through the Wish Cam on the Heart FM website.

By simply expressing their wishes to the Heart Angels’ Wish Cam, either in-centre or online, some lucky guests will have their dreams made a reality through some marvellous Marlowes’ magic.

Heart Hertfordshire presenter, John Darin, said: “After a tough 2020, we want to help boost the spirits of the Hertfordshire community so that everyone can end their year on a high with the Heart Angels and their Wish Cam at The Marlowes.

“We can’t wait to make some of the lucky shoppers’ wishes come true and bring some Marlowes’ magic to the Hemel Hempstead community.”

The Marlowes are also celebrating Raise West Herts Hospital Charity and their Raise a Smile campaign to help make a difference to NHS staff and patients at local hospitals across Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans and Watford.

Humphrey Mwanza, The Marlowes’ General Manager, said: “We knew that Christmas was going to be different this time around but we are delighted to be able to partner with Heart FM to provide the Wish Cam in line with government guidance.

“We are also thrilled to be able to support Raise in their Raise a Smile campaign, which will support many of our local NHS and key workers during this festive season.

“Thanks to our visitors following the guidelines we’ve established, we have been able to put on this fantastic Christmas event and can’t wait to welcome shoppers to participate in our festive fun!”

Visitors to The Marlowes over the age of 11 are reminded to wear a face covering unless they have a valid exemption; follow the one-way and traffic-light systems; and socially distance from others.
