Berkhamsted cinema ready to welcome customers back next month

The Rex Cinema in Berkhamsted is re-opening on Saturday, August 1, with a range of films ready for people to enjoy.

The cinema is looking forward to welcoming the public back, but there will be a number of measures introduced to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

There will be a film on every day in August, including Military Wives, Les Miserables, Dirty Dancing and Magic Mike. Tickets for August are available to book online now.

In order to provide a safe environment for customers and staff, The Rex is putting a number of safety measures in place:

- Online booking

- Contactless payment

- Social Distancing

- Sanitising stations

- Additional cleaning

- Staff training and PPE

- Plastic screens

- Distanced seating

- Reduced screenings.

If customers have any symptoms of COVID-19 they are asked not to enter the building.

Customers are being asked to maintain social distancing, wash their hands with soap and water regularly - if this is unavailable use hand sanitiser and cover their mouth with a tissue when they cough or sneeze.
