Spellbinding performance of The Witches!

JUST when you thought Hallowe’en was over comes an ever so slightly scary production of Roald Dahl’s The Witches at The Court Theatre, Tring.

The Berkhamsted Youth Theatre Company, whose members come from Beds, Bucks and Herts, return to the venue with their talented cast of 45 children aged between nine and 16 to perform this timeless classic about a despicable bunch of witches who get as much pleasure from squelching a child as you get from eating a plateful of strawberries and cream.

What’s even more unnerving is that real witches don’t look like witches. So how can you tell when you meet one? You’ll find out all you need to know in this remarkable story about the most gruesome gang of witches imaginable!

The play is directed by BYT’s Jean Fiori-McPhee who has a wealth of theatrical talent both in set design and as a performer herself. Jean will transform the cast into witches and (hopefully!) back into children again.

Running from November 17-19 (including a Saturday matinee).

Tickets from the box office: www.courtheatre.co.uk or 07453 560478.
