The online competition was won by Hemel Hempstead woman Jacqueline Adam.

Mrs Adam said she was delighted at the news.

“What a lovely surprise it was to win the tickets - we are really looking forward to seeing the pantomime,” Mrs Adam said.

“It will be a special treat for our youngest son, as recently he has been the one performing in a show. This time he can sit back and enjoy the experience from the other side of the stage, whilst us parents can enjoy not being a taxi service to all the rehearsals leading up to the performance!”

Mrs Adam was chosen at random from the 57 correct entries to the competition and will now get to see X Factor winner Sam Bailey make her pantomime debut at the Waterside this Christmas.
