Shake of the excesses of the festive season and limber up into 2015.

Try a work out of uplifting theatre, some eye-popping film, core-firming laughter and toe-tapping music.

The Hemel Hempstead venue’s new season starts on Saturday January 31 with the Eternal Child album launch of local singer-songwriter Daria Kulesh. It is her debut solo album and Daria will be joined by friends from the acoustic and indie-folk scene. That’s not all, though, some other highlights of the new spring season include:

COMEDY

Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!

The February comedy starring 10-times Sony award winning DJ Christian O’Connell has sold out in the first week of ticket sales. If comedy is your thing, fringe favourite and regular radio and TV comic guest Lucy Porter visits in March and award-winning comedian Jo Caulfield follows in April with a brand new show.

THEATRE

The Honey Man: An ageing West Indian recluse, trying to save his dying bees in a derelict cottage in rural England, into his world bursts a 16 year old girl called Misty.

A joint production from Judy Owen and The
Birmingham Repertory
Theatre Company.

A compelling, contemporary production featuring sparkling dialogue, an
atmospheric soundscape and a visually imaginative design.

MUSIC

Joglaresa – Rebels, Robbers and Rogues: Why not try some medieval ribaldry?

Joglaresa represent rebellion in medieval music. Fantastic music and social history all in one gorgeous package.

FILM

Pride and Imitation Game are just two of the fine examples of the films coming this season, two films that make British cinema simply breath-taking.

FAMILIES

Arthur’s Dream Boat: Magical playful children’s show with enchanting puppets and everyone will want to sail away with Arthur in his dream boat!

The show is adapted from the book by Polly Dunbar with music by Tom Gray. Suitable for children aged 2 years and over.
