From musical theatre to opera, comedy and ballet,the multiplex at Jarman Square invites enthusiasts to enjoy screenings of their favourite productions in the comfort of the cinema.

Some showings will even be screened live simultaneously, meaning cinema-goers needn’t miss a moment.

Straight to the big screen next Wednesday, March 4 is the Royal Shakespeare Company Live’s production of Love’s Labour’s Won.

Better known as Much Ado About Nothing, the play is performed under the title Love’s Labour’s Won, a name believed to have been given to it during Shakespeare’s lifetime.

The tragic and resonant tale La Traviata by the English National Opera will be screenedthe following Wednesday, March 1.

National Theatre Live: Behind the Beautiful Forevers, starring Meera Syal comes to the cinema on March 12, while screening on the 17th is the Royal Opera House’s Swan Lake, live – surely the greatest of all romantic ballets.

Hitting the big screen on March 23 is Maxine Peake as Hamlet, before the talented Mark Strong of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy fame wraps up the month with National Theatre Live: A View from the Bridge on March 26,
