Memories and quiz for hall’s golden day

The village hall celebrates its golden anniversary on Saturday, February 1.

During the day there will be an exhibition of photographs, memories and local history items covering village life, which will run from 11.30am to 4pm.

All will be made welcome and refreshments will be available.

During the evening brains will be put to the test as teams battle it out for bragging rights at a quiz night in the hall.

Teams of up to eight people are welcome, but if you aren’t in a position to raise a team you can be allocated to a table on the night.

Tickets are £10 a person, which includes a fish and chip supper, and the quiz will kick off at 8pm so contestants are asked to arrive from 7.30pm.

They’re also asked to bring their own glasses and drinks.
