Jazz drummer Bryan Spring to open the season at the Herts Jazz Club

He was tutored by American-born jazz drummer Philly Joe Jones and became pianist and composer Stan Tracey’s regular drummer for many years.

In recent times Bryan has focused more on his trio, releasing The Spirit of Spring on Trio Record to critical acclaim.

He will perform with Mark Edwards - piano - and Mick Hutton - bass - on Sunday, April 5 at the Hawthorn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City.
