It’s a big step up for Berko’s Big Band founder Sam

A teenager who set up Berko’s Big Band back in 2009 has now secured a top job with musical organisation, the Dowsing Sound Collective (DSC), after graduating with a first class honours degree in music.

Sam Sommerfeld, who went to Ashlyns School will be launching a DSC in London following its success in Cambridge. “I was really proud of what we achieved with Berko’s Big Band, so getting this job, which is essentially the next big step up, was great news,” said Sam.
