Film fans get four flicks at Old Town in February

The Old Town Cinema will be showing everything from modern day bestsellers to world movies in 2015. For those looking for something a little different, old classics and indie films form part of February’s film line-up at the Hemel Hempstead High Street venue.

Big name at this year’s Golden Globes Boyhood shows next Wednesday, February 4 at 7.30pm and Tuesday, February 10 at 2pm.

Lovers can enjoy romantic 1940s classic Casablanca on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14 at 7.30pm, while superhero thriller The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be screened the following Thursday, February 19 at 11am. Film fans can also see independent flick Ida on Wednesday, February 25 at 7.30pm. The story – following a novice nun with a dark family secret dating back to the years of the Nazi occupation – is in Polish with English subtitles.
