The crime will be uncovered at theVerulamium Museum in St Albans next Saturday, January 22, and the identity of the unfortunate victim has already been confirmed.

Hide AdThe corpse in question will be the museum curator, and the race will be on to unmask the culprit.
Hobby detectives will get to interview museum staff acting out roles from cleaner to director to establish just who did the dirty deed.
Councillor Mike Wakely, who looks after the heritage brief for St Albans City and District Council, said: “This is a unique murder mystery event for all the family to enjoy.

Hide Ad“In between quizzing the various museum characters to solve this murder mystery, you can explore the museum’s wonderful collection and possibly find some additional clues.”
The event runs from 11am to 4pm and is open to anyone aged seven years and above.
You can play detective on your own or pool your resources as a couple or family group.

Hide AdIt costs £5 to join the crimebusting crew, either as an individual or a group, plus admission to the museum.
Participating groups and individuals will be given an inspector’s badge and also have the chance to win a detective game when they submit their suspicions.
