Music shows celebrating the Sixties, The Beatles, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and the soulful experience of Motown are all on over the next couple of weeks.
Most of the shows mentioned are, in fact, on over the next few days, so if you want to see them you will have to act fast to see if there are any tickets still available or returned and, if so, book them quickly, writes Heather Jan Brunt.
All at the Alban Arena in St Albans Civic Centre, the first show is the world’s most famous Beatles tribute band The Bootleg Beatles, who are on tomorrow (Thursday).
This is followed by the biggest party of the year with the unstoppable and brilliant Magic of Motown on Friday (March 31), which has now been seen by over one million people worldwide.
Next up is The Sensational 60s Experience at 7.30pm on Saturday (April 1).
Seven legendary names including Herman’s Hermits, Chris Falowe, New Amen Corner, The Swinging Blue Jeans , The Fortunes, The Ivy League and Alan Mosca from Freddie and The Dreamers will take to the stage and deliver a night never to be forgotten.
Tickets £28 and £26.
Finally, New Jersey Nights at 7.30pm on Sunday, April 9, is a spectacular celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
The show takes the audience on a nostalgic journey through the career of one of the biggest selling groups of all time which saw hits including Sherry, Oh What A Night, Beggin’, Walk Like A Man, C’Mon Marianne, Working My Way Back To You and My Eyes Adored You.
