Live music and comedians will provide all round family fun for the fourth year running at the BURYFields two day festival.

Chart topping indie band The Farm, best known for their peace anthem All Together Now, will headline on Friday (June 17), ably backed by rising Chesham rockers Crossways.

Held at The Bury in Church Street, Chesham, BURYFields has been wowing punters from near and far with its unique mix of entertainment since its maiden outing in 2013. Friday’s fun starts at 6.30pm and goes on until 11.30pm and while The Farm will play on the main Big Top stage, in the Guilty Pleasures tent there will be DJ sets from Goldie Lookin’ Chain and others alongside Punk’n’Rock karaoke from The Liabilities and cabaret with comedian Dee Riley.

Saturday (June 18) starts at noon and goes on until 11.30pm with a bill topped by The Wonder Stuff celebrating 30 years of hits from Dizzy to Size Of A Cow.

The popular comedy stage, headlined by Jonny Awsum, returns in the evening and there will be an outdoor cinema showing children’s classics all day, with a magic show in the evening for the children.

There is also a welcome return go the Bandstand Stage for the popular swing and Rat Pack combo, RPC.

On top of all that there will be a whole host of stalls offering everything from face painting and storytelling to making things with wood, Henna tattoos, a bubble workshop, traditional Zimbabwe drum workshops and children’s songs.

Refreshments will include the festival’s own on site pub selling real ales, craft lagers, ciders and Pimms, plus a cocktail bar and plenty of food stands.
