A touring theatre team which specialises in taking familiar tales and then giving them a twist rolls into Berkhamsted this weekend.
Oddsocks Theatre Company shows have adapted works by Shakespeare, Dickens and Victor Hugo in the past, but the latest show takes a familiar folk tale as its inspiration.
The Oddsocks crew are best known for open-air performances at festivals and in heritage settings during the summer, but Saturday’s date is comfortably indoors at the Espinosa Chute dance centre in Northridge Way.
The Adventures of Robin Hood is billed as an energetic, romp suitable for all the family with live music, lots of action and plenty of opportunity for audience participation.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £15, with concessions at £12.50 and accompanied children under 16 paying £8.50. There’s also a £44 family ticket offer.
