Office workers plot revenge at Tring theatre
The film version, starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, was a box office smash hit in the early 80s, and the stage adaptation is proving to be just as much fun.
Tring Festival Company present the musical at The Court Theatre with a bright and breezy, yet thought provoking feast of great music, crazy plot lines and a feelgood factor second to none.

Hide AdSet in the late 1970s the play focuses on the struggle to get through the day for office workers juggling with life work, family, love and romance, or the lack of it.
This is not easy when you are also in the employment of a boss like Mr Hart.
Sexual harassment is as commonplace as paper, and the path to career success is a minefield of innuendo and put downs trodden by any girl with aspirations beyond that of the typing pool.
Even there, employees are not safe, in a world where men lead and women follow, or so they might think.
