Mozart’s Magic Flute is one of world’s best-known operas, and performances have been graced by some of the greatest singers who have ever lived.
But you don’t need years of training and carefully-honed talent to help bring this iconic work to life.
Aylesbury Opera Group is presenting a concert performance at St Peter and St Paul’s church in the centre of Tring on Saturday evening.
And anyone who turns up for a rehearsal that afternoon can add their voice.
Spokesman Philip Mayes said: “It’s a fantastic piece, very accessible, with lots of memorable tunes.
“People can either simply be in the audience to watch the performance, or they can come along to a rehearsal on the afternoon of the concert day and join in with the choruses, then be part of the performance in the evening. We provide the music.”
The rehearsal starts at 3pm, the concert itself at 7.30pm, and £10 tickets will be available on the door.
