Teachers and pupils at Holtsmere End laced up their trainers for an action-packed Skip 2 B Fit skipping workshop.
All the children at the school, together with most of the teachers, took part in an energetic challenge to see how many skips they could compete in two minutes.
The top pupil on the day by just one skip was Jack Hopcraft, who achieved an excellent 243 rotations.
Headteacher Emma McGuigan said: “The whole school enjoyed a fantastic day.
“At the end of each session every child is given fresh blueberries and a health leaflet as part of the programme to deliver the whole health message.
“Skip 2 B Fit believes that the best time to introduce children to healthy food is immediately after exercise.”
John McCormack from Skip 2 B Fit added: “It is great to see the children skipping. Our message is simple: we can not all be the best, but we can all improve our personal best.
“I would like to congratulate the children in particular on their behaviour throughout the day. “
