At Tring the Beavers Swimming Club helps disabled people to gain mobility and better health through exercising in water.

It's good for companionship too.

Volunteers are needed to assist people carrying out the exercises and giving encouragement to develop swimming skills.

Help is given poolside and in the changing area. Beavers meet on Tuesdays from 1.20pm to 2.20pm.

It's enthusiasm that counts rather than special skills, plus ability to swim in shallow water. Health and safety policy and training are covered by the pool management. There is also insurance cover.
