Cheerers are needed to support next Sunday's Flora London Marathon.

The charity Wellchild is looking for people to be on duty between 8am and 4pm on April 13 and focus on runners in PINK, handing them items to cheer them on their way.

A Wellchild spokeswoman said: "You will make a huge difference to them and have a truly fantastic day yourself. Bring your family and friends."

The Wellchild charity provides nurses to look after sick children in their own homes, funds a helpline and supports medical research.
