A charity worker is urging people to get involved in a walk to help raise awareness of lymphoma - the UK's sixth most common cancer.
Helen Mee, whose father passed away last year after a long battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, has organised the Beacon of Hope Walk.
She wants to give something back to the Lymphoma Association, where she works, which supported her family during her father's illness.
"The association gives support to people who have come into contact with lymphatic cancer and I wanted to do something to say thanks for the help they gave my family. Everyone is welcome to take part, whether they've been affected by lymphoma or whether they just want to enjoy a Sunday morning stroll." she said.
The event is being held on Sunday, October 5 starting from The Greyhound pub in Chesham Road, Wigginton at 10am.
Walkers can choose between a two or five mile circular route which will journey though the historic landscape of Tring Park and along The Ridgeway.
Registration is £10 per walker or £20 per family.
