A home-grown musical has been such a hit that it will be staged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Noah The Musical premiered at the Court Theatre in Tring almost three years ago and since then its popularity has soared.

The show, written by Ian Gower of Queen Street in Tring and Rob Alderton of Cheddington has been staged by youth groups up and down the country as well as in Australia and America.

However, this is the first time it will be performed by a professional cast.

The Fringe held every August is the world's largest arts festival and is used as a platform by up and coming talents trying to make it big in the performance industry.

Mr Gower said: "Hopefully it will promote the profile of the show. We hope to take Noah as far as possible."

The musical will be at the Gilded Balloon from July 30 to August 25 in the Debating Hall, which holds an audience of 350 people.

Details of how to purchase tickets have not been confirmed yet but keep up to date by visiting www.noahthemusical.co.uk.
