Villagers are being invited to attend a meeting to discuss the future of Wilstone's only shop following the announcement of Post Office closures.
The store which has a post office branch based inside will close later this month (September).

Wilstone Village Store owner Jenni Corsby said the shop is being forced to shut because it is no longer viable without the Post Office trade.

But resident Jane Waterhouse - a regular user of the convenience store - wants to look into ways of retaining some sort of village shop.

An open meeting to discuss ideas will be held at Wilstone Village Hall, in Tring Road from 8pm next Tuesday (September 9).
