Charity supporters are being urged to go American and hold a fundraising Swishing Party.
The phenomenon from across the pond is now starting to take off here.

It involves guests taking along good quality unwanted clothes to a party which are then swapped between pals.

The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) says it is the perfect way to raise funds for the charity, which provides care for terminally ill and seriously ill patients within their own homes.

Funds can be raised by charging a ticket price to attend or putting prices on the items being swapped.

Any unwanted clothes at the end of the night can be taken to an IRHH shop.

For more information call the hospice fundraising team on 01442 890222.
