Incentives firm Grass Roots has teamed up with children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Staff are planning a series of fundraising events and will each be allowed one day's paid leave to volunteer with the organisation.

The charity gives care and support to children and young people with cancer and their families.

Already Grass Ro
ots, with its head office off Station Road in Tring, has held a fundraising quiz raising more than £350 and a talent show is being planned.

A monthly Jeans Day also brings in cash and directors are planning a visit to one of the hospitals that the charity supports.

Managing director Andy Lister said: "Grass Roots has a great tradition of supporting good causes. When we were first listed as a Sunday Times top 100 company to work for two years ago, the feedback confirmed that our charity commitment is one of the features of working here that our employees are most proud of."

The firm, which works to boost staff performance for clients by improving their knowledge, skill, effort and commitment, has a history of supporting worthwhile causes including the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and the Hospice of St Francis.
