Get top tips on saving money and resources during the Tring Eco Fair.
The event has been organised by Tring in Transition, which is a group dedicated to making the town more sustainable in the face of dwindling oil supplies and rising energy prices.
During the fair at the Victoria Hall in Akeman Street, Tring on Saturday, November 8, guests can find out about environmentally friendly Christmas gifts, paper making, solar and wind energy, recycling and lots more.
There will be more than 25 stalls at the event from 10am to 4pm, including a free bike clinic for cyclists and a swap shop where unwanted items can be exchanged for something else.
Face painting will be on offer to children from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Tring became an official Transition Town earlier this year, along with Berkhamsted and is part of a worldwide movement.
