How war fits in with religion will be discussed during a talk with Royal Navy Chaplain Stuart Hallam.
The reverend was the first chaplain to insist on being armed while in Afghanistan, which represented a significant change in church rules.

War and God is the first community event of its kind at Tring Learning Centre and follows the launch of Tring School's new religious education initiative.

The talk will be at the centre in Mortimer Hill on Saturday, October 11 from 10am to 1pm.

Find out more by contacting Heather Simms on 01442 821067 or hsimms@tring.herts.sch.uk.

For more information on course run by the centre visit www.tringlearningcentre.org.
