A day of performance was held at the Arts Educational School in Tring to remember its founders.
The event was also a chance for talented students to show off their dancing, singing and acting skills.

The annual Founders Day was celebrated with performances throughout the school and its grounds.

Director of dance Rachel Rist said: "Wherever guests roamed there were concerts, mini performances, huge spectacular performances and art displays admist the lovely Tring Park gardens where these talented students grow up.

"It was an exhilarating day of performances and prize-giving with guest speaker Leopold de Rothschild, the school's president, who shared his childhood memories of Tring Park."

The day on Saturday, July 12 is used to mark the creation of the school in Tring by Lily Cone and Olive Ripman in 1945.

Guests were able to enjoy a picnic in the grounds and refreshements were on offer from a Pimms bar and inside a tea tent.
