Come along to village festival

A charity festival will raise funds for a village church and annual fireworks display.
Visitors to Wigginton on Sunday, July 12 can see classic cars, browse a farmers market and cheer on competitors in the tug of war.

The event off Wick Road starts at 11am and runs to 6pm. Live music throughout the day will include many styles from gypsy jazz to rock.

Community groups will be manning a variety of stands and sideshows.

Money raised from the fun day will go towards repairing the walls of St Bartholomew's Church, as well as providing funds towards the an annual fireworks display.
