Artist Melanie Burnell proved such a hit in Tring when she exhibited her work last year that she has returned to the town.

The 26-year-old, who creates bespoke artwork for clients to complement their homes, is showing her work at Picture Box in High Street, Tring. When Melanie last held an exhibition at the shop, during October and November, her art was completely sold out.

Owner of Picture Box, Elizabeth Land, said: "Melanie's artwork is bold, textured and completely unique. Not only that, her fully tailored bespoke art service has brought joy to many of my customers who have commissioned specific pieces to suit their homes."

Melanie, who paints and designs interiors full time, also offers original artwork for sale and works with clients to produce art commissions to suit specific rooms in homes.

She said: "With the growing trend for modern interiors featuring focal contemporary artwork, I realised that there was a need for a bespoke service where artwork is created entirely around a client's interior colour scheme and style.

"Interior design and painting go hand in hand for me and are essential for creating the right feel for any room."

The exhibition will be showing until Saturday, June 16. For more information call the shop on 01442 827071.
