Tots could not wait to tuck into some tasty cake to celebrate their pre-school's new name.
Tring Mothers Union Pre-School is now called Tring Stepping Stones
and has been given a revamp.

The group based in Sutton Court was first formed 46 years ago and started off being run from people's homes.

Now based in the hall at the rear of St Peter and St Paul Church, pre-school leader of six years Julia Orme felt it needed an image update.

"Over the last year we have been looking to change our name to something a little more modern and inclusive," she said.

The pre-school asked parents and tots for their suggestions and also got Tring Brownies to put forward their ideas.

Staff and parents then voted for their favourite.

To go with the new name, the nursery also has a new logo designed by pre-school dad Ian Pudney.

Find out more about the pre-school by calling 07963 982576.
