Hemelhempstead Today and The Gazette have launched a Happy in Hemel campaign.
The town has come under fire in the last couple of years -it was recently voted 42nd by more than 20,000 people in a national poll of the 50 worst towns in the UK - but now we want to highlight the many good things in Hemel.
Good schools, a great park, the Old Town with all its beauty and history, lots of sporting facilities, a voluntary sector that provides so much help and support too many in our community etc, etc.
And we want to hear from YOU.
  • Tell us what you like about the town.
  • Tell us about local shops and businesses, and their staff, that give you good service.
  • Tell us about good neighbours and others who help you.
