Pupils and staff puffed their way over 13 laps of the playing field at Nash Mills School in a fundraising drive.
Some even managed more than 20 laps to raise cash to help pay for a refurbishment of the school hall.
Last year's event managed to raise around £2,000.
Headteacher Rosie Washford Mower said: "There was a really good team spirit. They all had a great time."
