Seven-a-side success
Leverstock Green FC played host to eight teams in its seven-a-side football tournament.
The Peter Metcalfe competition kicked off at Pancake Lane, Hemel Hempstead on Saturday.
Winning team of the annual contest were Rayners Lane FC, managed by former Green player Paul Leslie, who finished top of the tournament table with 18 points, winning six of their seven games.
In second place were Dunstable Town with 14 points.
A second side from Rayners Lane finished third with nine points, along with Hemel Hempstead Town and Bovingdon.
Tring Athletic finished with eight points, while the home side Leverstock Green - fielding a side of mostly youth players – finished with two points.
In the ladies' tournament, held at Pancake Lane on Sunday, Hitchin Town finished first, ahead of the hosts in second.
It was the second successive year that Leverstock Green had hosted a women's seven-a-side event, with six sides taking part this time.
Green chairman Kate Binns said: "It was a really positive weekend. It was very friendly, tThere was a really good feel to it.
"The weather was nice, the people were nice – it just clicked."
