Rush Judo warriors blitz Shizentai Rumble

Rush Judo had an extremely successful day returning with a mass of medals from the Shizentai Rumble.

Twenty sixc judoka competed at the Hertswood Academy in Borehamwood winning an impressive 12 gold, 11 silver and three bronze medals.

Gold medallists were Jessica Rush, Sophie Rush, Marcus Rush, Suri Dix, Jordan Hayes, Ethan Shaw, Hans Tudoran, Patrick Beloe, Skye Westwood, Ollie Cadge, Keiran Docherty and Cameron Jones.

Silver medals went to Jemima Cadge, Maggie Rumsby Ferris, Leo Rumsby Ferris, Dylan Richards, Pennie Rumsby Ferris, Ethan Tegg, Ruben Tudoran, Lilly Simpson, Marshall Westwood, Mel Pacitti and Alec Holian.

Bronze medals were won by Jim Collins, Travis Hayes and Eden Tudoran.

Coaches Pete Brent and Laurie Rush were pleased with the day’s work, saying: “There were some excellent performances and lovely Ippon judo”.
