Several high scoring jams for the Belles, combined with strong walls holding back the opposing team’s jammer, meant the score at half-time was 165-48 in favour of the home team.

The second half saw the Roller Girls return with some fighting spirit, but the Belles stayed focused to take the win, scoring 343 points to Bedfordshire’s 102.

With two of their four games played, the Belles are top of their division with a large points difference. They are determined to make it through to the play-offs at the end of the year and secure promotion to Tier 3 for next season
