Hemel batter Berko
New signings Steve Wales and Chris Marsh each bagged a brace as Hemel Hempstead Town FC battered Berkhamsted in a pre-season friendly.
Skipper Paul Edgeworth scored the first goal of the evening, and the only goal of the first half, for Hemel.
But two goals in five minutes put the game beyond the Lilywhites' reach, when 20-year-old striker Marsh and then winger Wales scored on 48 and 53 minutes respectively.
Boss Steve Bateman brought Marsh in from Dunstable for his second spell at the club with Wales signing around the same time from Borehamwood.
And the pair lit up proceedings with another quickfire double just after the 70 minute mark, Marsh again hitting the back of the net minutes before 24-year-old Wales stuck away his second of the day.
It was left to Harry Hunt to put the icing on the cake with his 82nd minute goal.
Hemel will be hoping their good pre-season form continues when they take part in the Amersham Town Tournament this Saturday before facing Conference side Gray's Athletic in a friendly next Tuesday.
