Hazard chips in for charity fun at Redbourn

editorial image

Redbourn Golf Club welcomed former Tottenham Hotspur player Micky Hazard to the course for a day of fundraising.

Taking to the 18-hole Ver Course in aid of Children in Need and the Pepper Foundation, the Spurs man missed out on the prizes, but Redbourn golfers Ann Stowe and Fran Reeves stole the show with 46 Stableford points.

Competition was fierce and the charitable champions finished only one point ahead of runners-up Haydn Drinkwater and Jamie Harris, who are both greenkeepers at Redbourn.

The golfers raised an impressive total of £688.34 on the day.
