Get court up in brand new netball sessions

Back to netball sessions have proved so popular a new venue for them is opening up.

The sessions, which are for people who are getting back into the game or want to play for the first time, have attracted upwards of 50 people to Tring.

And now Dacorum Netball Forum, who started the six-week course, are hoping one in Berkhamsted will prove just as popular.

"We really want to get netball out there and get people off the sofa and onto the netball court," said coach Sally Whittle.

"We want to attract mums who haven't played since school and people who have never tried the sport."

The new sessions start on Tuesday September 14 at Sportspace Berkhamsted, between 7pm and 8pm, for six weeks.

The course at Sportspace Tring will be between 7pm and 8pm from Thursday, September 16 for six weeks.

Players can turn up and play on the night or contact alison.adams@dacorum.gov.uk for information.

The sessions cost 5 a time or 20 for all six.
