Tudors snap up former Spurs forward Slabber

Hemel Hempstead Town have announced the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jamie Slabber.

The 31-year-old won the Vanarama South division with Bromley last season as his goals were a major factor in the Ravens promotion.

Slabber started his career at Spurs, making his debut in a televised Premier League game against Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

He then went on to have successful spells at Grays Athletic, Eastleigh, Chelmsford and Sutton United, scoring over 100 goals in the process, including the Ravens goal in the 1-1 draw at Vauxhall Road last season.

Tudors boss Dean Brennan said: “We are delighted to secure the services of a player who we know is a top centre forward in this league.”
