Tring Athletic A were held to a scoreless draw with AFC Storm to stay in mid-table in the West Herts Saturday League Premier Division.
Elsewhere, Division One leaders Hemel Rovers Reserves took the three points with a 4-1 victory over Old Parmetarians – goals coming from Asher Alleyne, Scott Vaughan, James Trill Green and Curtis Donaldson.
Division Two action saw defeats for both Dacorum sides, Tring Athletic B and Bovingdon. Tring were beaten 3-2 at Vicarage Celtic while Bovingdon lost 3-0 to Harpenden Rovers Reserves.
Meanwhile, Division Three side Potton End easily overcame Harpenden Rovers A in a 4-2 victory. Dale Jenkins notched a couple with Dave Melhuish and an own goal completing the scoring for the Enders.
It was a bad weekend for Hemel Shooters who were on the end of a 7-1 hammering by Gadebridge Reserves, and have since decided to fold due to a lack of players.
The Gadebridge marksmen were Chris Walsh (2), Lewis Crowys (2), Arnold Adzahos, Ben Kelsey and Ryan Campbell.
In knock-out action, Hemel Rovers hosted Aldenham FC and were made to work hard for a 4-2 win in the Watford Peace Shield.
A Lee Thorne header opened the scoring before Michael Hoare added two further goals early in the second period.
Aldenham pulled two goals back, but Rovers sub Dave Flack made sure of the win.
