The game started flatly, with Berkhamsted enjoying some good spells of possession, but Corries took the lead on 15 minutes when Andy Wheeler-King burst through to score.

Berkhamsted hit back and equalised on the half hour when Tring duo West and Adamson got in a muddle and allowed the opposition in to score.

Tring could have immediately gone back in front when Stuart Howe burst through, but his shot was well saved.

However, just before the break Corries did manage to make it 2-1 when Darren Miles smashed home a penalty kick.

Tring made a quick-fire start to the second half as Luke Byrne came off the bench and immediately beat three men and smashed the ball home to make it 3-1.

Berkhamsted heads dropped, and it was all Corinthians from then on.

Andy Humphreys was harshly judged offside when he ran through to score but Tring were not to be denied for long.

A fine move down the right saw the ball rolled to Ben Alcock who slotted it home with glee to make it four for the free-flowing Corinthians.

There was still time for more goals, and Joe Jary drove home from the edge of the box past a despairing keeper to put Corries 5-1 ahead.

At the death, Alcock thundered home his second of the game and Tring’s sixth to complete the scoring.
