It took Hadley just 45 seconds to open the scoring as Ivan Machedo burst through on goal, and although Liam Jahn saved his first shot, Machedo followed up to force home the rebound.

It only took Hadley until the 12th minute to add their second goal, Nick Chrysanthou effectively playing a one-two off a Green defender before rifling home a shot from the edge of the box.

It could have been 3-0 on 33 minutes as Zaine Gangadeen put Machedo through on goal again, but Jahn made a brilliant double save to keep out Machedo’s shot and his effort from the rebound.

However, in the 40th minute Machedo played the ball out wide to Tanasheh Abrahams and continued his run into the box to meet Abrahams’ cross and shoot home the third goal.

Hadley were denied a fourth on 63 minutes when Laste Dombaxe’s shot hit the woodwork, and two minutes later there was a chance at the other end when Luke Warner-Eley got in on goal, but Harry Sedgley got across to put in a tackle.

In the 73rd minute there was a chance at each end as firstly Curtis Donaldson’s shot from a corner was headed off the line by a defender, then Hadley hit the woodwork again with Machedo’s header from a corner.

A minute from time Levy pulled a goal back through a fine shot from Donaldson, and Warner-Eley missed a good chance to pull a further goal back a minute later.

However, in stoppage time Jermeel Jno-Baptiste bagged Hadley’s fourth goal and ended any hopes of an unlikely comeback.
